Finisher

Fatteners are pigs at the latter stage of rearing. The pigs are matured and need to add weight to be fit for sale. High TDN feed increase the body weight fast and attain proper weight. Finisher is the feed given to fully grownup pig.

Finisher feed is given to pigs from body weight of around 70 kgs to around 100 kgs or marketable. The proper weight reaches from the age of around 15 weeks to 23 weeks. Around 7-10 ltrs of fresh and clean water depending on the body weight is required for a finishing pigs.
